Amazon Review
A backstage drama about the sadness and joy of the TV news station, sent by a gorgeous combination of Nanako Matsushima and Masaharu Fukuyama. Makoto Takamiya (Nanako Matsushima), who was active as a news reporter in the United States, is headhunted as a chief producer by leveraging a news program whose audience rating is sluggish from Japanese TV stations. At the same time, Hiromi Nagase (Masaharu Fukuyama) will be transferred from the Variety Production Department to the press. The two people who are jerky have a lot of ties in the olden days …
The first co-starring of the two major stars makes the drama shine. Especially, the acting of Masaharu Fukuyama who plays Nagase is fun. The switch between serious and comical has been decided very nicely. Takamiya’s stance of emphasizing the audience rating is halfway, and although there is some unevenness in the performance of each story, the constant good performances and light production of the performers who have set aside make it easy to get tired of it. It’s a drama that you can enjoy. (Yuichi Aso)
