Squalene is the main component of liver oil, an oil found in the liver of sharks that live in deep waters. Deep-sea sharks inhabit the ocean floor at depths of 1,000m, where light and oxygen are scarce, and their amazing life force. Deep-sea sharks live at a depth of approximately 1,000 meters, in a harsh world with extremely low oxygen levels. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) are omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids found in the oil of blue-back fish such as mackerel, sardines, Pacific saury, tuna, and bonito.
