Arctic Monkeys, the monster rock band that has taken the world by storm, has released their fifth album “AM”, their first in two years!
The band has teamed up with James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco, the band’s longtime producer, who has shown his skills on their second album “Favourite Worst Nightmare”, third album “Humbug”, and fourth album “Suck It and See”. Ross Orton, who has worked on the band’s singles as co-producer, is once again on board. In addition, Josh Hommi of Queens of the Stone Age, Pete Thomas, drummer for Elvis Costello, and Bill Ryder Jones, formerly of The Coral, have joined as guests. Also contributing lyrics to “I Wanna Be Yours” is John Cooper Clarke, a punk poet who has been active since the 1970s. Always original, their sound evolves with each release, and once again, the world is shaken by their sound!
