[Glass] [Scheduled to arrive in late June] Evangelion Unit 1 Edo Kiriko Glass
Traditional crafts “Edo Kiriko” and “Edo Kiriko”, which have been designated by both Japan and Tokyo,
refer to the technique of decorating the surface of glass by cutting a pattern and its pattern. “Edo Kiriko” is packed with techniques that can only be achieved by knowing the light, such as refracting light with a deep groove, collecting thin lines to give it a reflective effect, and sometimes making it into a frosted glass to soften it.
This product is the first machine designed by blasting on the Edo Kiriko glass of the traditional pattern “Kikutsugimon”, which is derived from the fact that it looks like a chrysanthemum that means immortality and longevity. The standard colors of Kiriko are red and blue, but the “gold purple” used to reproduce the color of the first machine is a very valuable material with very few factories that can produce it.
The third generation of Nemoto Glass Crafts, which continues to make the finest Edo Kiriko in downtown Tokyo.
Glasses that draw beautiful curves by making precise cuts to the limit with their own eyes, sensibilities and inherited techniques are no longer works of art.
