HKF56 Hot Wheels Premium 2 Pack Plymouth Belvedere 426 Wedge / ’65 Dodge Coronet
In the 1960s, Chrysler put the most effort out of the manufacturers that competed in drag races to see how fast they could run a quarter mile. This two-pack includes machines based on the 1963 Plymouth Belvedere and the 1965 Dodge Coronet. The Velvedia has specifications that are relatively close to those of a commercial car, but the engine is a reproduction of the specifications equipped with a 7-liter V8 engine (over 400 horsepower), which was available as an option for competition use. It is a machine with a high-rigidity, lightweight, low-priced 2-door sedan body. The Coronet, on the other hand, was a machine made entirely by Chrysler for racing purposes, and was remodeled into an altered wheelbase in which the front and rear wheels were moved forward in order to apply the load (the weight of the car body) to the rear wheels. It is a feature. The Belvedere has the same coloring as the actual machine (with a different logo), and the Coronet has the traditional coloring and coloring seen in the drug machines of the late ’60s.
