Deskripsi
[Details] In Japan, pickup trucks are often used as commercial small trucks for carrying luggage, but in the United States, they have long been popular as a two-seater passenger car that can carry luggage. Pickups can be broadly divided into small trucks called mini-trucks and large full-size trucks with a width of nearly two meters. In the 1970s, the former became popular in North America, represented by Japanese cars. Japanese mini trucks such as Nissan’s Datsun and Toyota’s Hilux, which are fuel-efficient and run well, have become very popular among young people. Mazda took notice of such a trend, and since its successful commercialization in 1967, the rotary engine, which was mainly installed in sports models, has been replaced with the North American version of the company’s mini truck, the B series (Japanese name is Proceed) and released as the Mazda Rotary Pickup in 1974. The car name REPU is an abbreviation for Rotary Engine PickUp.
