In 1987, the second generation appeared due to its popularity. At that time, Honda had a wide and low styling identity, and the second generation CR-X was 50mm wider and 20mm lower in height. In particular, the low bonnet achieved by changing the front suspension from the conventional strut type to the double wishbone type was impressive, and it was said that the bonnet could not be seen from the driver’s seat. A unique point of the second generation CR-X is the extra window on the back of the body (rear rear end cross section) for securing rearward visibility, but Hot Wheels has a black color on the part above the tail light.
