The parts used for high-end models are generously installed, aiming for a sharper, more responsive sound than the stainless steel housing. It is a versatile earphone with a sound field that expands further compared to “Glitter” and “Todoroki” and less distortion.
The tuning was done with an emphasis on the spread of the sound, the good balance, and the good localization of the sound. In addition, we have adopted a titanium housing that could not be selected at the ASSY meeting. The sharpness peculiar to titanium and the sound of the sound are added.
- Equipped with 3rd generation “HDSS (High Definition Sound Standard)
adopts HDSS technology, which is a patented technology of TBI Audio System LLC. This technology suppresses the reflection of sound inside the cabinet and produces sound with less disturbance. The sound waves reflected inside the cabinet also adversely affect the vibrating plate of the woofer, causing dissonance from the diaphragm. With HDSS technology, the sound inside the cabinet does not affect the diaphragm, so the woofer behaves faithfully to the signal source. Therefore, it is said that it is possible to obtain a realistic sound with less fatigue.
It is equipped with an acoustic component called the 3rd generation “HDSS” that can be selected even at ASSY meetings. Simply put, the HDSS unit is installed on the back of the driver unit, and unnecessary vibration waves echoed inside the housing are taken into the HDSS unit and suppressed. It is a technology that makes it possible to properly adjust the vibration waves emitted from the driver by suppressing unnecessary vibration waves that interfere with the original movement of the driver. However, if you do not adjust it well, you may feel that the sound is poor, so it is necessary to perform total tuning including not only the driver design but also the placement position in the housing.
Since it is a 14th anniversary model, it is equipped with the third generation “HDSS” that is installed in the upper models “Ti3” and “Sho”. The brothers “Glitter” and “Todoroki” are not equipped with “HDSS”, which is one of the excellent points of “耀”.

housing material and shape that secure the sound unit to the earphones are very influential parameters. In particular, the effect of the material on the sound is great, and it is common to use a material with a high density to suppress excessive biased vibration. The general theory is that titanium is hard, but pure titanium is a metal that is surprisingly brittle and easily scratched even in daily use. Intime uses a titanium alloy based on titanium, which is not easily scratched and has excellent lightness. Although titanium alloy is lightweight (low density), it has the advantages of high mechanical rigidity, excellent vibration control, and high acoustic transmission speed. On the other hand, it also has the disadvantage of being expensive due to poor workability.
In “耀”, “titanium alloy” is used for the front housing. At the ASSY meeting, we could only choose the front housing of “stainless steel” and “brass”, but in order to add more sound and sharpness, we adopted “titanium alloy” for the front housing. Titanium alloy is used for the high-end model of intime, but in consideration of keeping the price easy to reach for “耀”, “titanium housing” is adopted on the front side and “resin housing” is adopted on the back side. , Balances sound quality and price.
