The “Hobonichi Techo Original” is an
A6 size (the same size as a paperback
book) notebook with one page per day.
Since its launch in 2002, this is the
most standard type of Hobonichi Techo that has been loved by many people.
The 2023 edition marks the 22nd year.

The wide space of one page per day can be used in a variety of ways , such
as writing schedules, diaries, memos,
pasting tickets and photos, and drawing pictures . The page design inside is based on the “3.7 mm grid” that we arrived at after many adjustments . You can write schedules and sentences neatly, and it is also convenient when you want to draw diagrams and pictures. One of the unique features of the Hobonichi Techo is that it includes one word per day, carefully selected from the Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun website . You can also enjoy it as a “reading notebook”. In addition, pages that help schedule management such as “Annual Calendar”, “Monthly Calendar” , and “Annual Index” are also included. At the end of the book are “Addresses”, “Graph Paper”, “My Favorite Things” , “To Enjoy Conversation More” , and “Enjoy Learning at Hobonichi School”.
