Joe Hisaishi’s first album, which has announced a contract with Deutsche Grammophon, a prestigious classical music company, is an orchestral recording of all his own compositions provided for director Hayao Miyazaki’s works in a new arrangement.

Recorded in London with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, this work has a universal sound that can be applied to any genre of classical / J-pop animation.
It is the crystallization of the collaboration between Joe Hisaishi and Ghibli films, which have a special presence in the animation film world and continue to be loved.
